Horse Sitters – Freelance Groom Services

Here at Kirstys Horses we pride ourselves on offering a high standard of care to all our clients and their horses. We achieve this by only recruiting quality people who are motivated, trustworthy and reliable and who also have plenty of experience with horses. All our horse sitters hold various equine qualifications or have many years experience in the equestrian industry. They are all CRB checked and insured and also undergo specific training from Kirstys Horses before being allowed to provide any horse sitting services to you.

We aim to be able to provide a full range of services to fit all types of cliental. We currently have clients using us for all types of reason such as holiday cover, whether that is a single visit or 2 weeks of full care while they go away; work commitments or illness, school term times, seasonal disciplines (such as hunting, polo etc) and of course winter nights. We are also able to provide a long or short-term groom service to both individuals and businesses; this could be anything from a few hours every day or just a couple hours a week. We offer a full range of services including all accepts of stable and yard duties and exercising of horses. Horse care services.

Some of our horse sitters are able to offer services in specialist areas, such as Jenni Johnson who provides horse care in the East Leicestershire and Rutland areas, who having run a very successful Arabian stud yard for many years has a wealth of experience in this area; or Phil Plumb who provides horse care in the Cheshire, Wrexham and North Wales area, who as an ex race jockey with over 20 years experience within the racing industry, not only as a jockey but also as a yard manager, Phil is by no means short of experience both in the saddle and off. We also have Felicity Evans in Hampshire and Surrey who offers a clipping service to all her clients. All of our horse sitters are able to offer you and your horse that little bit extra.
